The Sisters of Saint
Ann
Saint Joseph's Province
British Columbia, Canada
Saint Ann's Residence
|
The day begins with a blessing and thanking God for life
and goodness!
The Sisters of the province rely on the prayers of their Sisters at
the Residence and refer to the Residence as a "power house of prayer." |
| Highlight of the day is the Eucharist offered in the Chapel.
Beside the Chapel door hangs a bulletin board on which prayer requests
are posted. During the day, Sisters visit the Chapel to pray for
these, and other intentions. |
|
|
Mealtime is an enjoyable occasion for sharing events of
the day and reminiscing about "old times."

|
| As part of a "Fun Day", 4 nurses "ham it up" for a skit. A Sister
later invites the group: "Let's all sing!"

|
|
|
Friends and relatives gather for a Liturgy to celebrate
a Jubilee of Religious Profession and to congratulate the Jubilarians for
their 50, 60, and 70 years of Religious Life! |
| After a recognition dinner for a retiring staff member,
Sisters visit with friends in the foyer.

|
|
|
As evening falls, Good Saint Ann continues to watch over
Saint Ann's Residence. |
